Family Friendly

The Sleeping Warrior is exceptionally child-friendly and welcomes families and educational groups. As well as offering children’s menu’s and mealtimes, baby-sitting, cots, family rooms and child supervision, we also offer a range of activities for children ranging in age from 4-14.

Options include:

Learning the Maasai code (making bows and arrows, starting a fire using traditional Maasai technics, building a miniature Manyatta, Maasai dance and jumping, and joining in a campfire story-telling session).

Wildlife tracking.

Botanical trails (including teaching on medicinal plants) and Maasai beadwork classes.

Typically the activities would last around two hours, but could be adapted to suit the requirements of each individual group.
