The weavers are the noisiest birds in town! The males build nests in a tree and try to attract the females at the entrance of the nest, upside down and making a lot of noise. All the males are doing the same at the same time, creating a ruckus not very harmonious! These birds obviously like to be near humans. I have to assume for security reasons. They like acacias and now we have colonies in the parking of the lodge, near the staff houses and near some bungalows.
